An old residential house of the Ubaldo Laya Family built in 1935. Several VIPs were hosted in this house, including presidents (Manuel L. Quezon, Manuel Roxas, Elpidio Quirino, Sergio Osmena) and US Ambassador Paul McNatt. During the Japanese occupation, the house was used as a hospital. The old building, still as sturdy as ever, once housed the Iligan Museum, the city’s tourism office, and Bayanihan Research Center
